Mountain bike riders wanting a tropical adventure have given Cairns the thumbs up as the entry point for a diverse region where they can ride trails exploring the rainforest, mountains, beaches and accessible outback.
The 2017 UCI World Mountain Bike and Trials Championships use the exciting downhill and cross-country trails at Smithfield Regional Park, only a 20 minute drive from Cairns international airport.
