The Feast of the Senses is Cairns’ premier tropical food event! Showcasing an amazing variety of exotic tropical Fruits, Produce, Seafoods and Meats it is like no other festival in Australia and is truly an experience for all of your senses!

Tropical produce is the hero of the festival and over the ten day program visitors will be able to see, touch, taste, and smell the amazing fruit and food that comes from this vibrant region.

Held in March each year the programme incorporates food events, farm trails, art, photography, cooking competitions and culminates in a huge market day extravaganza showcasing all the local regional produce.

Market Day is held in the centre of Innisfail’s CBD one of the best collections of art deco architecture in Australia.
