The Cairns Tropical Writers Festival celebrates the wonderful environment of our Tropical coast, rainforest and mountains. It stimulates our creativity and makes us hold to our Sense of Place.

The Festival will be an exciting program of evocative writers and creative minds that will bring the Tropical experience bursting into life in words and images for our community and visitors alike.

The Festival program will offer the regional community a series of workshops and events early in the year which will lead up to the headline events of the Cairns Tropical Writers Festival weekend of 12th-14th August.
