Well lets get back on the topic of why Cairns is the Adrenaline Seeker’s heaven.  As mentioned in my previous blog, Cairns is unique in that if offers an endless amount of options for those looking for adrenaline type experiences as well as a gorgeous tropical environment.  Hence, it is a favorite holiday destination for people all over the world.

But what are these adrenaline experiences being offered in Cairns?

Let’s recap quickly on the ones mentioned in our previous blog…. 1. Australia’s highest tandem skydive over the beautiful Great Barrier Reef, 2. a high ropes experience that has you hanging over the top of a huge hungry crocodile, 3. the world’s only flying fox that allows hands free flying, 4. moonlight mountain biking on some pretty steep tracks and 5. an extremely courageous jump off Australia’s only bungy tower.   Wow, could there possibly be more??

Well yes let’s add another 5 shall we….

1. Xtreme Tully River White Water Rafting
This is for the real adventurous experienced rafters, with the rapids having a grading of 3 and 4.  It doesn’t all just happen in the raft either, there’s opportunity for swimming in the rapids and of course some flat out, serious adrenaline fun cliff jumping…you’ll just want more

2. An up close and personal crocodile spotting tour
If you’re wanting an almost guaranteed siting of a crocodile, you must jump aboard one of Bruce Belcher’s Daintree River Cruises.  The man is seriously passionate and experienced about these crocs and just his stories alone will have you feeling a little uneasy as you get closer and closer to spotting them in the wild.  There’s not much distance between you and them either, so that heart rate will surely get up there…just don’t fall out of the boat at any point

3. Flyboard Cairns
This is such an awesome, unique experience and what a creative idea of someone’s.  It  combines water skiing, wake boarding and snowboarding all in to one big thrilling experience.  It’s going to push you out of your comfort zone and get your adrenaline pumping but isn’t as hard as you may think…well that’s what we’ve heard…give it a go and let us know!!

4. Jet boating
You may have seen the giant ‘Bad Fishy’ jet boat parked in the Cairns Marlin Marina.  It’s hard to miss.  It’s fast, it’s fun, it’s wet and it’s going to make you scream for 35 minutes…happy screams though

5. Night-time 4WD experience in a Hummer
It’s a genuine Military H1 Hummer that will give you this hair raising ride! The Hummer is unstoppable even in the bush land with nothing able to stand in its way. You’ll smash through bush, creeks and rocky terrain from sunset to night fall.  Lots of thrilling fun!

I think you’ll have to agree with me now, that Cairns is the ideal place for all adrenaline seekers!!
