Close to 2,000 masters-aged men and women from Australia, Oceania and South East Asia are expected to converge on stunning Tropical North Queensland to take part in this iconic sporting event. This exciting multi-sport event will see participants compete in over 20 different individual and team sports across four days of competition.
The Great Barrier Reef Masters Games are a celebration of Masters sport including both fierce and friendly competition. Now in its third games in Cairns, the Masters will be held from 25 to 28 May 2017.
Cairns is the ideal location to host the Games, being one of Australia’s most popular holiday destinations with a myriad of local attractions, dining, adventure sports, reef activities and entertainment within close proximity to the city centre.
