Terms and Conditions
Deposits are to be received on the day of booking and can be paid via credit card over the phone. For cheque, money orders or direct deposits please ensure they are paid no later than 10 days after the booking date.
Cancellation and Changes Policy:
We accept changes and cancellations to bookings up to 14 days prior to arrival. Changes and/or cancellations for accommodation stays must be made directly with the park and must be more than 14 days prior to arrival. If a cancellation is less than 14 days prior to arrival all monies paid are forfeited. Under some circumstances we may be able to offer another booking date (not available on bookings made during peak season, Christmas and Easter) An admin fee of $25 applies to all cancellations and or changes made to any booking within any timeframe. Please be aware of your minimum stay requirements prior to booking as we do not refund unused paid accommodation.
Wedding reservations including guest stays must be paid in full within 1 month of booking and are not refundable. They may be transfered at manager’s discretion.
Check In / Check Out
Check in time is from 2pm. If your arrival is after 6pm please let reception know beforehand so arrangements can be made to collect keys and/or directions to either your cabin or site.
Check out time is strictly 10am unless previous arrangements have been made with reception.
Please be advised that all cabin accommodation is non smoking. An additional cleaning fee will be charged to your account if you fail to adhere to this rule.
Children under the age of nine(9) years of age are not permitted to use the top bunk of any park accommodation. Please keep this in mind when making your booking.
We are a pet friendly park however no pet is allowed inside our accommodation, amenities or community kitchen/pool area. A pet bond of $100 is taken (for park owned accommodation bookings only) at time of arrival and is refundable once the accommodation has been checked by our staff. We are unable to refund the deposit if your pet has been inside the cabin as additional cleaning costs are incurred to sanitize the accommodation. Please check the park rules with regards to pets and your responsibilities whilst staying with us.
All prices are Nett to Lake Placid Tourist Park and are not subject to any further discount or commission. We wish to advise that a service fee and credit card processing fee of 1%(inc. GST) will apply to all payments made using Visa or Mastercard. Prices are quoted in Australian dollars, include GST and are subject to change.
