Shop

The park shop stocks newspapers, ice, gas, milk, bread, cold drinks, ice creams and basic grocery needs, and provides a daily incoming and outgoing mail service.

Broadband Internet access is available on a public computer in the office, and dial-up or broadband for personal laptops.

Information Centre

You can rely on the vast knowledge and first-hand experience of the staff for full tourist information and bookings for over 100 tours. Pick-up at the park can also be arranged for many of the popular tours.

Community Kitchen and BBQ

The community kitchen and BBQ are located within the resort style pool area. The modern stainless steel kitchen, complete with a large fridge and freezer have been designed to compliment the tropical setting. There is plenty of space to enjoy meals on your own or with other travellers. A shaded area with tables and chairs, overlooking the pool, provides a relaxing place to read or visit. The free stainless steel gas BBQs sit adjacent to the kitchen so that you can enjoy your meals in a pleasant environment.

Activities (June to September)

Activities are held every Monday evening & Saturday morning, and on alternate Wednesday nights, from June to September. Money raised at these activities is donated to Caravonica State School. During the 2007 season, thanks to the support of our visitors, we managed to raise $3,365, which will be used to purchase two electronic whiteboards and a data projector for the school.

Monday night: For just $7 per person, enjoy a delicious Thai dinner cooked in our community kitchen. Let us do the cooking - just bring your plate, drink and good humour, and relax pool-side for the evening.

Wednesday night: A casual sausage sizzle is held on every second Wednesday night. For only $2 per person you can enjoy that yummy taste of sausages and fried onions, and the company of new found friends!

Saturday mornings: Fresh homemade scones and cream, tea and coffee are served every Saturday morning – for only $2 per person. Gather in our pool-side community kitchen and exchange travel tips with your neighbours!
