Deposits and Cancellation Policy

Deposits

A deposit is required to confirm each reservation.

Reservations made within 30 days of date of arrival require a deposit to be paid when making the booking.

Reservations made 30 days or more before date of arrival, require a deposit to be paid within 10 days of making the booking.

Deposits can be paid over the telephone using your credit card.

Money orders and personal cheques are only accepted if received at least 30 days prior to arrival. If you are sending a cheque or money order, please ensure to record your full name, address and licence number on the back of the cheque/money order. This will ensure correct and quick processing of your deposit. Please note that a $20 fee applies for dishonoured cheques.

Booking confirmation

A confirmation letter and receipt will be forwarded, if required to you via post or email once the deposit has been paid. Once received, please check your reservation details are correct and inform Lake Placid Tourist Park immediately of any errors or changes.

Cancellation Policy

  • If a reservation is cancelled 30 days or more before the booked arrival date, a $25 cancellation fee applies per reservation.
  • If a reservation is cancelled within 10-30 days of arrival, any deposit refund is up to the discretion of the Manager.
  • No refunds or cancellations within 10 days of arrival.
  • At least 30 days notice must be given for any booking or date alterations.
  • All wedding bookings must be paid in full upon booking and are not be refundable. They may be transferable, at the manager's discretion.

Prices are NETT to Lake Placid Tourist Park and are not subject to any further discount or commission. Prices are quoted in Australian dollars, include GST and are subject to change.
